It has been a while since I got back into writing fiction. The beginning has been a bit slow but it is exhilarating to say the least, to create something on paper again after so long. All through high school and college, I was told to put a rein on my pencil because it tends to be quite sharp. Anyway, life takes strange turns and somehow writing took its place on a high shelf and gathered dust.
Several writers blocks after an initial surge of writing, I have now finished an outline! Hurray! I must say the writer's club is a great help!
So now my outline is ready, and I am ready to start the novel (again).
I cannot imagine the participants of NaNoWriMo. How do they do it? How does a cogent novel come out of the one month rigorous writing when I am unable to get one even started or planned, with all the time in the world? Sigh.
All the best with your novel! Are you likely to let out any details?? ;)
ReplyDeleteSure, once I know where my characters are going, I can be sure of the story! :)
