a line for faith

It was at the writer's club party, that Henry Snider, a confirmed liberal, remarked

"Faith unites, religion divides".

Very poignant.

Years ago in my teens, I devoured Richard Bach, Kahlil Gibran, Ayn Rand and such to try and find my religion. None of the established disciplines seemed made for me. I am still searching.

But I'm better off without it, I think, after all I have survived all my life with it. Maybe Hank is right
After all I'm quite united with myself. And I can't admit to any religion per say.
