H is for Home
A couple of years ago, my life looked complete. Good day job, creatively writing, great partner and not in that order. World looked nice. Yes I did miss having a baby. It would have been the cherry on the icing of the cake.
Then our daughter happened to us. Baby noises filled my life. Cries, giggles, and babbles. Baby work dominated my days and nights. Life, as I knew it turned around.
Having a baby was far from the cherry on the icing. It wasn't even the icing.
It was the cake.
With my daughter, I was happy. I was content. I was home.

Awesome post! We struggled for years to have kids. Then our two daughters popped out just like that. And we were home.
