I is for Insouciance

This feels like a shade of April 1st.  A dollop of apathy with a splash of unconcern, and a topping of carelessness.  All this is baked in a soft pastry of nonchalance. It makes for a surprisingly interesting dish even though the feeling that insouciance awakens is that of an indifferent lethargy.  Especially when its served with a tall glass of cool impassive languor.

“I would live all my life in nonchalance and insouciance, were it not for making a living, which is rather a nouciance.”
 -- Ogden Nash

  1. Wow. I loved this one. It's a dessert I'd like to eat the end piece of and then procrastinate on it for a day before I got back to work.
