B:
“…when I had no worries,
fears, or desires, when my life seemed as soft and lovely as lying inside a
cocoon of rose silk.”
― Amy Tan, The Joy Luck
Club
When one has no knowledge of what the world is all about, I
suppose life can be an endless meadow of summer daisies dancing in the
breeze waiting for one to bounce along in. If I didn’t know what heat could
do to things, I suppose I one could dream of a large cone of chocolate ice
cream that I could lick all summer. S-l-o-w-l-y.
Live in a world I build myself, and like Wodehouse’s
Madeline Basett, believe that "every time a fairy blows its wee nose a
baby is born."
The world would be one large ball of fluff and music. No
tears, no heart breaks, no distress. Not knowing. Ignorance.
It’s what the word
for today stands for.
B is for Bliss.
You pessimist, you. ;-)
ReplyDeleteTim, no pessimism. Just saying. :)
ReplyDeleteYummy chocolate ice cream :D
ReplyDeleteLoved it.
P.S: You should turn off word verification.
Childhood should be about bliss, sometimes that doesn't happen. This makes me sad and angry.
ReplyDeleteGreat post.
